He's right on target with weight and measurements, and his birthday has changed.  He'll be born 6/18 now.  So, 41 days till the little bugger is here!  My doc doesn't do weekly check ups for some reason, even though I am 33+ weeks.  So, one more regular appointment on 5/30, a pre op appointment on 6/11 and then he'll be here on the 18th ( Read more... )

Today went really well. Our baby boy looks fantastic, nothing wrong with the heart, kidneys or measurements. So, we decided to forgo the AFP testing. They'll be keeping an eye on him and his size, since small birth is the most likely effect of his single umbilical artery. She also had to tell me that it slightly elevates our risk of losing him ( Read more... )

So, our doctor reviewed our first u/s, and we only have a 2 vessel umbilical cord. This apparently puts the baby at higher risk for heart and kidney defects, as well as chromosomal problems. So, they're gonna check and make sure everything looks good, and they will be monitoring babies size and fluid levels throughout the pregnancy ( Read more... )
